A former theatre owned by the Yamamura Estate was transformed into something different in the advent of new ownership. Sudden circumstances meant that the young Kimura Yamamura, heir to his parents' estate, was tasked with the building's future oversight. But over time, what once was an overly stuffy, exclusive and ostentatious theatre in the Shirogane streets soon became a hub for more casual conversation and social eating.Through the collaborating hands of Kimura and his close friends, the Parlour's doors hold myriad possibilities. Some guests prefer an evening of quiet study, while other enjoy the lively atmosphere of talking over tea. Be it a scholar, a socialite or a wistful wanderer, the Perfumed Parlour opens its doors to all that care to have a peek.

The Perfumed Parlour is centered around casual RP in a salon environment. It draws its name from the Ishgardian word parler, which means 'to speak' in common Eorzean. Historically, the Ishgardian parlor room is that for gathering among its occupants, culminating in events once reserved for the upper-crust nobility—known as a salon. These days, venues such as the Parlour aim to host salons for those of all creeds while still carrying the same veneer of grace as their predecessors.

We hope that the Perfumed Parlour can offer you a warm, comfortable setting for RP ranging from the frivolous to the serious. Whether you're commited to long-term narratives or simply interested in having a moment of respite, the Perfumed Parlour welcomes you in!The Perfumed Parlour doesn't open on set days, but if you see us in PF we're open for visitors! Amenities include the upstairs lounge area and downstairs bar and eatery.Access to the venue and all musical performances are free of charge, though any tips are greatly appreciated!

Shushuya Belvyeri

Organizer (and decorator!) of the Perfumed Parlour's guest venues. Though her primary profession involves gathering botanical components and brewing potions, she's extremely dedicated to the success of the Parlour, a project built on the passion of her closest friends.

Dr. Lucan Aegrus

The esteemed Dr. Aegrus occasionally lends his services to the Parlour as a pianist. Though his busy schedule is often a pain to work around, a desire to entertain leads him to stop by when he can.
